Unable to secure a contract Leona Lewis took a number of jobs to pay to get into a recording studio, including waitressing at Pizza Hut and receptionist job at chiropody surgery in Stoke Newington High Street.

With no luck and her dream fading away, Leona considered placing her music career on hold to attend a University, before her finance Lou Al-Chamaa, that she has known since they were ten years of age persuaded her to enter X Factor.
