The secret behind the Crocodile Hunter
We all are given the tools to pursue our Passion. The question is what are you going to do with those tools? Steve Irwin was born into a family that did its part in protecting the environment and the animals that depend on it. His great family provided Steve with the tools to pursue his Passion. He achieved world-wide fame from the television program The Crocodile Hunter, an internationally broadcast wildlife documentary series co-hosted with his wife Terri Irwin. Together, they also co-owned and operated Australia Zoo, founded by his parents in Beerwah, Queensland.
Steve's Passion for Animals pushed him to do amazing and sometimes life threatening things. He knew that in order to give people an experience that would change their perspective about wildlife he had to do things that others where not willing to do. His life depended on it. He once described his daughter Bindi as "the reason [he] was put on the Earth." His wife once said, "The only thing that could ever keep him away from the animals he loves are the people he loves even more." Perhaps Bindi was the reason he was put on this earth, to provide her with the tools to pursue her passion for wildlife as well.
