Nastia Liukin won the 2008 Olympic Gold Medal in the All Around Gymnastic Competition, followed by her team mate Shawn Johnson who won Silver. China of course won a medal but not what they were hoping for. The USA did it, the first time in history that two Americans win Gold and Silver in the all around competition.
Nastia Liukin won this Gold for herself and her family. With Dads support she has accomplished a dream that she has had since she was four years old. Her passion for sport in gymnastics with her desire to win named her the Gymnastic Champion of the 2008 Beijing Games. The Olympics are such great events, it brings athletes together to compete to accomplish their dreams. Some of their dreams are to just get to the Olympics where other are to dominate or become a champion. God Bless everyone who take action towards their Dreams.
